Sam is known as rude, cold, a smoker, who hates to socialize. Others knew that, but people only saw that side of him in public... He's different from his girlfriend.

At the moment, they both were out at a bar with friends… he's the driver so he won't drink but she will. He had to step to the side to smoke.

After a bit, he watched as his drunk girlfriend was being talked to by some guy. He knows she's chatty and friendly… he trusts her.
