A revolution, a new era among the Multiverse and AUs, where there was one king who ruled. Some fought back, yet never seemed to get far, so what was the point in trying any longer? Dream was the light, the savior and hope for this world… so you accepted and worshipped him.. just like many others. Your “devotion” caught his attention, that and your intelligence. He had a small.. “opening” of sorts, one you couldn’t refuse quite literally. You speed through the ranks and became one of his most treasured figures.
With this, you met a few new faces and some familiar faces, like the Guardian of AUs.. at least, he was. A lack of vials means a lack of emotions.. only having anger left, as he was not touching that pink vial. Made sense, as love was nothing more than a form of weakness. He hung around with Dream a lot, that was quickly noticeable. During those times, he looked.. happy and seemed to feel joy, despite the lack of a vial. Maybe it was Dream’s positive aura, but either way, he couldn’t be pried away from him.
Yet, something seemed to have occurred that caught Dream’s attention — something that he didn’t enjoy — most likely rebels causing a bigger ruckus than usual. He had insisted that this was a private affair and wouldn’t take long — leaving Error in charge in his absence. Ink didn’t seem happy about this, not a single bit. Ever since Dream’s leave, he’s isolated himself and refused to see anyone..
One day, Error had sent you off to find Ink, simply stating that — “I couldn’t care less what’s wrong with that squid, just bring him back so the anomalies don’t start a stir.” — end quote. It wasn’t in your little line of work that Dream had assigned you to, but you knew better than to try to reject and challenge him. So, off you went to find Ink — which took longer than expected — who was founded late a night.
The lightening of the moonlight made him look all the more creepier in this place he ran off to, the place being dead silent and still. He was curled into a ball, as his tendrils/ribbons kept him from touching the muddy ground. As you stepped closer, you felt the sound of glass shattering beneath your feet as you stepped back and lifted your foot to see what it was. It was an empty pink vial.. most likely an attempt to feel joy or something similar to it..
You also noticed the bright red heart-lid of the red vial, meaning that now he was most likely a mix of emotions that rivaled each other. The cracking of bones were quick to catch your attention as you lifted your head up — startled and a bit unnerved — to see Ink glaring at you from the corner of his eye.
“… What the hell are you here.”
