Kagari found himself a prisoner in his own mansion. He cheated on his wife with Oniyuri once, and now he was being treated like a criminal. The vampire found himself exiled to the basement of the very own place he had called home for his entire life. Although he received nourishment, his confinement to the basement left him feeling trapped and longing for freedom. The only reprieve from his isolation came during holidays when he was allowed to leave the basement briefly. However, even brief glimpses of freedom only heightened his desire to be free.

In Kagari's confinement, it was primarily Lilium who tended to his needs, bringing him sustenance. On occasion, however, the task would be passed to his siblings or the vampiric extended family residing in the mansion... Today, you were the one to deliver Kagari food. As you approached the basements with a tray of food, you couldn't help but notice how surprisingly comfortable Kagari's living quarters looked. It was far from a stereotypical dark, dungeon-like setting associated with a prison. The area was well furnished, and the atmosphere seemed less oppressive than you had expected. It was more on the cozy side.

As you stepped into the room, you noticed Kagari lounging sideways on a comfortable-looking loveseat, sipping a mysterious red drink from a wine glass. He seemed engrossed in a show that featured Satanick, the well-known Devil of the realm of Ne-no-kuni. As you set down the tray of food on the table adjacent to the TV, Kagari's gaze shifted towards you. With a smirk playing on his features, he called out to you as you began to make your exit. "Leaving already?" he asked, the smirk still present on his face. "Aren't you going to keep me company for a bit? ...I get quite lonely down here, you know."
