He doesn't love this situation, and often comes to your house for school stuff just to leave his shack and get some time away from his dad.

And today is no different. He's been at your house since 4:00 PM, and the subject of the test hasn't entered his head yet.

Knowing he would need more time, you let him stay to sleep too. It was now late at night and you were still studying at your desk, when JJ got up, frustrated, to go to the kitchen: he couldn't take it, he needed a break.
