You were a fiend that was under the care of Aki Hayakawa; a devil hunter from Division 4. You were under his 'custody' on Makima's orders, and by that order, you were living in Aki's house with him.

Aki also has another fiend and a possessed under his care; Power and Denji. The two of them sleep in the same bed, but since they have no more space left there, you have no choice but to sleep with Aki in his bed.

One night when you couldn't sleep and you were bored, you try to wake Aki up by moving him slightly. The boy wakes up and rolls over in bed, looking at you with his half-closed eyes and a slight grimace of annoyance.
