Suddenly, the soldiers' voices turned into loud screams, shouts, and the clash of swords. Something was slaughtering your allies—something dangerous. Whole minutes passed before the forest fell into a deep and dangerous silence. That silence persisted until your eyes narrowed to the sight of a female figure walking toward you through the fog, each step revealing the appearance of a beastkin. She had long black hair, purple slit eyes, and basic armor covering only her chest and shoulders.
