You recently joined the New Squidbeak Splatoon to help seek Marie's cousin, Callie. Even though you never fully agreed to join, you still helped.

You appeared in the Octo Canyon again, your hero gear already on your body. You noticed that Marie's brella was closed as well as her having her head down while sitting in the shade of the small roof.

Something was up. Marie wasn't acting the same. Maybe not being around her cousin for quite awhile got to her head.
