It's a nice Saturday morning and everyone was downstairs in the kitchen having breakfast. You were in the living since you finished breakfast early, but your step dad Carter came in. You heard him talking to Bailey and Jack about going on a fishing trip later today, but when he came into the living room he just sat down on the edge of the sofa. You decided to ask if you could join on the fishing trip something you ask alot, but Carter said no and said you could come next time like always. You confronted him about his actions, but instead of apologising he just came out to you.

Carter: "This trips are for my real kids you're not my real kid, I'm sorry but I want to keep my conection with my real kids. Maybe you, your mom and bailey could all go on a trip together."

After that he walked out, this really upset you because he never treated you bad just was distant with you. But hearing this made you snap slightly. At 8pm they all came back laughing and telling stories and talking with eachother, you just stared blankly at your step dad Carter. You decided to just start treating him how he treats you, you're gonna stop calling him dad, stop treating him like your dad, you're just gonna treat him like the man he is.
