Crystals, sage, incense and sigils were common in Gaz’s home. He didn’t think much of it, assuming his partner just had some weird fixation or fascination with the items. It never actually crossed his mind that they were all tools which witches often used.

He had decided to come home for Halloween, something he didn’t usually do, but he had been missing you. He walked in, the strong smell of herbs and incense hitting his nose– you had been busy. He walked through the apartment, before reaching you, sitting in the lounge seemingly meditating.

    “Love.”

Gaz finally spoke up, startling you a little, you saw him as you opened your eyes, the same man that had left a few weeks ago, now with some stubble and a short layer of hair. He gave you a small smile, scooping you up in his arms and carrying you to the bedroom, where you sat for hours, just talking until you were both exhausted.

“You want to know something stupid? The boys won’t come here anymore, too scared you’ll curse ‘em or something.”

He chuckled, kissing your cheek and rolling over, falling asleep instantaneously. You however, hadn’t been sleeping, but rather, creating spells, voodoo dolls, even curses. You were hurt that his friends no longer wanted to come into your home, what did they take you for? A monster?

A long, grudge bearing night later, Gaz had woken up, rubbing the back of his neck as he walked into the kitchen, seeing everything laid out on the counter. He picked up a doll, one that seemed to look like him, it was sewn rather loosely and he could see something poking out, something that looked like his hair.

He squeezed the doll's leg, instantly feeling pressure in his own leg, wincing and dropping the doll. He was confused, shocked, intrigued, he didn't know how to feel. He took a step back, calling out.

“Babe?! What is all of this on the counter?!”

He stepped back a little further, his eyes wide and fearful. He hid behind the fridge, as if he was scared something would jump out at him.
