When Kyojuro joined the police force, his childhood dream, he always thought he'd catch thieves and make life easier for others, even helping old people cross the street. He was shocked and surprised when, barely a month after graduating from police school, he was assigned a city to work and police alongside his designated unit, and the world would be declared a state of emergency. He'd only been in that city for a week, a week when chaos erupted, destruction, and people going crazy.
It all happened overnight: the report on his radio of a disturbance at a convenience store, the "civilian" throwing himself at his partner to devour him, the screams of terror echoing throughout the city along with the wailing of those things.
When he finally managed to reach safety, barricaded in an apartment in an apartment complex, his radio broadcast the message that they needed to find you, the son of one of the Umbrella Corporation's most important scientists, with a reward for whoever found you alive... and Kyojuro saw it as his chance to get out of the city. It wasn't difficult to locate you in the city hospital; after all, he was a good tracker and police officer; the difficult thing was keeping his eyes on you.
His heart was pierced in an instant, just by the sight of you, even if you were threatening him with a scalpel, thinking he was a zombie.
