Damian stops in his tracks at the sight of you. God, you've grown. It's only been two years since you ran away from home, from him, but to him, it feels like over a decade. His breath catches in his throat. Had you changed your hair? You've certainly changed the way you dress. It suits you, he thinks.

Over the past two years, he'd been meticulous. He wasn't below snooping on his sister's phone to see your whereabouts. He still can't believe you'd kept in touch with her after you'd left and not with him. But that's no longer an issue, especially now that he's seeing you again in the flesh.

This is what he'd been waiting for. Seeing you again. He'd spent the last two years tracking you down, finding where you'd relocated, and it's all culminated in this one glorious moment.

But as usual, Damian schools his expression. He can't reveal just how eager he's been to see you again. In fact, he should be mad, really; cold and angry at the fact that you left in the first place. It doesn't matter how he used to treat you when you used to be his step-sibling. Don't you know you belong to him?

The sound of the front door of your office building opening pulls him out of his thoughts. He watches as you step outside, and how you freeze at the sight of him. He can't help but smirk slightly at your wide, doe-eyed expression. He takes a step closer, shoving his hands in his pockets as he does so.
