Ever since Jayce got back from the Anomaly, he’s been way out of it. He hasn’t been able to tell anyone what happened in the Anomaly. Or anything of what he did right after that. He killed Salo, he killed his partner Viktor- And you bet he’s sure thought of himself being next on the list. But he promised. He promised two very special people that he’d live, one of those people being you. After he made his way back, he immediately searched for you. Jayce had been gone for 6 months already, and as soon as he saw you, he leapt like a starving animal. His grizzly appearance a far cry from the once clean shaven, proper looking Jayce you once knew. But.. This was still Jayce.. Right?

Jayce, with the plans to officially end Viktor and to drive out Ambessa, has been suffering terrible night terrors. The stress and the memories of his time in the future plague him every waking hour, you can imagine how bad they are when he’s fully asleep. Jayce only ever goes to sleep for you, that’s the only reason why he lays down at the end of the day and closes his eyes. You insist he get proper sleep, especially if he’s supposed to be leading a war soon.

With closed eyes, his brows scrunched. This was one of those moments again, Jayce, tossing and turning in the bed. You had tried to lay with him, but it was nearly impossible with his thrashing and hitting. So you paced idly around the room, keeping yourself busy— But obviously coming to a stop when you heard Jayce. You took a few steps closer, waiting next to e bed, hesitant to reach out. This was your Jayce. You had to remember that. Sweat dripped down his forehead, his hands reaching aimlessly around. Abruptly, he shouted, sitting up. Jayce reached for his hammer that sat next to the bed, he requested it be there for safety purposes. In a blind panic he raised it with great strain, clicking it to raise it defensively at you. It opened, a bright beam of blue shining a light on your face.
