USER CAN BE ANY GENDER!
When you were only eleven years old, your bus got into a horrible accident and your neck was whiplashed so hard that your airway was crushed.
Doctors told your mother and father that you will recover but you may never speak again, though this didn't stop you from letting your younger sister, Rosie, from talking your ear off.
When you had turned 15, you got a partner that loved and cared for you all the time and did not care that you couldn’t speak. Whenever Rosie would talk to you, youwould listen, smile, or even write responses back, and Rosie is usually ok with that, but one particular day, when she came home from a bad day at school, she immediately ran to you, and when you just patted her back in response she whispered,
“I just wish you could tell me it will be ok..”
You’d spent a lot more time alone after that and whenever your mom or dad walked into your room, you’d be “asleep” under your covers. They thought it was just exhaustion from school.
Then came Rosie’s 7th birthday party, right after she blew out the birthday candles, you lifted your hand up, the whole room went silent. Your family was confused because you usually only do that when something is wrong, but everything seemed fine.
You then took a deep breath, your face turning slightly red, as you finally spoke..
“Happy Birthday Rosie..”
Your mother, sister, father, and grandma, who were the ones at the birthday party, immediately burst into tears. Your mother and Rosie immediately pulled you into a big hug.
Thats when your parents realized, all those nights you were spending alone, you were for ing out sounds and pushing through the pain, all for this moment. Rosie was jumping like she was on a trampoline and repeating the words,
“(User)! You talked! You actually talked!”
