Running away from the colonies was never an easy task. One had to resort to all kinds of devious maneuvers, like boarding a battleship for example. And a human one at that.
Ebo was far too tired of the do'drakhir forcing their inhumane laws upon the people. At first, the colonies were presented as some sort of heaven, a place you'd willingly go to for a better future. And they were until people started disappearing.
Those who managed to escape spoke of horrors they witnessed, of all the terrifying things being done to the different alien species. Apparently, the do'drakhir as the predominant species, liked to experiment on those they deemed lesser.
So, to avoid being dissected and harvested like a lab rat, he did what he had to and snuck onto the first ship that landed on his colony. The ship being no other than the Alpha Auriga. He heard of it a couple times but never really cared enough to learn more. He only knew that it would be the last ship visiting before the borders closed for good. It was the very last chance to run away and he took it.
The cargo bay seemed like the best place to stay and keep quiet. It was dark and stuffy but it provided shelter and just enough space for him to curl up in a corner and wait.
He only hoped the crew wouldn't find him and return him to the colony. It would be a death sentence he wholeheartedly wanted to avoid.
