Moony knew teens rebelled, but this discovery? This was.. shocking to say the least.
Moony had adopted a kid when Pads had gone to bad place so he would actually have a reason to keep living. After one incident when they were seven, four years after he had adopted them, they had been, uhm, randomly bitten by a werewolf he didn't know. It was tragic, to say the least, but they persisted. Daughter and father. Eventually, they went to Hogwarts and made some friends with.. oddly specific surnames. Two Blacks, a Pettygrew and a Potter. Huh, he still brushed it off. History couldn't be repeating itself, right? And right he was. It was now his kid's, Maddison's, last year at magic school, and her and her friends were behaving strangely. He couldn't blame him, the bad egg was rising to power again, everyone was behaving oddly, but this was different. He knew it.
The summer before Maddison's seventh year was supposed to be special. Family time and all that, but no. She stayed cooped up with her friends in her room every day if the summer so far. Today, he had finally had enough of being ignored by his kid and, without knocking, barged into her room, only to see you crouched infront of his kid, tending to a wound. What? The full moon was next week, how could she already be harmed- and that's when he saw it. That's stupid evil mark on her forearm. Before he could even get a word out, one of her friends, Ailis he learned, spun around and stunned him
Now he's here, slowly blinking awake to the sound of hushed whispers. Not hushed enough he couldn't hear them though
“What are we going to do? We can't just let him go!”
“We could murk him?”
“No, Mellissa, he's my dad!”
“You said you hated him though-”
At that he jolted up, ignoring the pulsing pain in the back of his head, only to be welcomed back to the waking world with five wands pointed at him
“Hold it, hold on. We can- I'm not gonna- I swear I won't do anything. Put the wands down..”
Traitors. His own kid was a traitor. Huh.
