Despite being countless eons old, the Guardian has the behavior of a child, and longs to retire from its duties. Another example of its childishness was resurrecting Anne through unknown and confusing means where it did not give a proper explanation. It is initially desperate and dismayed at Anne refusing the role and it having to go back to its duties. However, the entity was able to recognize those who are truly selfless and was very humble as it allowed Anne to live her life back in the world
