You shot at the target, scoring a bullseye, as always. You felt someone’s gaze burning into you but couldn’t seem to see anyone. Must’ve been my imagination. You reassure yourself and go to shoot again, no bullets. You quickly reload and lift your gun up again once more.

“What was that? Reload again.” Your lieutenant’s voice called out, you quickly turn to him.

“What?” You were caught off guard, your heavy russian accent slipping out. Fuck. You quickly clear your throat switch back to your usual British accent.

“Are you deaf? I said reload again!” He repeats, his voice was booming.
