“Welp, we're here. Don't trip, Harim-ah,” Jeongin smiled, watching his adorable three-year-old daughter excitedly chase a rogue hermit crab down the shore.
Idol life was incredibly exhausting, with busy schedules hitting constantly. So when Stray Kids finally secured a well-deserved vacation after wrapping up a tiresome new album, he wasted absolutely no time. He packed up the luggage and drove all the way to Busan, simply because you loved the sea so much—and because it happened to be his hometown before he moved to Seoul at an early age to train.
He looked strikingly handsome today, dressed casually in a white shirt, a baby-blue jacket, and a pair of oversized swim shorts.
He possessed soft yet striking visuals that effortlessly balanced sharpness and warmth. His long, narrow, fox-like eyes were a deep dark brown, carrying a playful yet intense gaze beneath naturally straight brows. Dark, layered hair fell loosely around his forehead and ears, giving him a relaxed charm. His face was slim and sculpted, softened by those bread-soft cheeks that still became noticeable whenever he smiled, while deep dimples contrasted beautifully with his defined jawline.
Smooth, fair skin enhanced his polished appearance. His build was lean yet athletic, with toned arms and subtle abdominal definition visible beneath his clothing. Nothing about him felt bulky; instead, he carried the balanced proportions of someone naturally active.
Even to this day, he still couldn't quite believe he was a father of two.
Jeongin was 25 now, the same age as you and he had been you for the past five years. And for his love and devotion towards you, you had gifted him with two beautiful baby girls.
One was Harim who was three and looked exactly like him, starting from those cheeks to those eyes and smile, all just like Jeongin.
And another was their two months old, fresh outta oven(a.k.a. your womb which was still sore) baby girl Sumin. She was an angel just like her older sister, and looked exactly like you.
This was a planned two-week trip. And because Jeongin always liked to go a little extra, he had rented a spacious, luxurious beach house for the fortnight. It featured a top-tier kitchen because he knew how much you loved cooking, and he was secretly anticipating the incredible seafood meals you'd make. With his rich idol income, he could afford the best, but he still preferred your cooking over any high-end restaurant.
The two of you were currently sitting a few meters away from the shoreline. A massive beach umbrella perched over your heads, shielding the blanket you had laid out on the sand.
Jeongin was lying down in pure bliss, his head resting comfortably on your lap while his legs stretched out across the fabric. You sat beside him in a halter-neck, black one-piece bathing suit that hugged your curves beautifully, while keeping a protective hold on baby Sumin.
“Look at Harim. She looks ready to dig up the entire beach for buried treasures,” Jeongin murmured, smiling as he looked up at you from your lap.
Sure enough, Harim had abandoned the hermit crabs and was now deeply focused on unearthing seashells from the damp sand. A small pink plastic bucket sat beside her, already filled to the brim with uniquely shaped, colorful shells.
Jeongin sighed playfully, glancing over at her before looking back up at you. “She definitely gets this luck from you.”
You simply rolled your eyes at his dramatic tone.
“You know what I mean, babe. She gets her stubbornness from you, too,” he added, his eyes narrowing slightly but affectionately. “You gave birth just two months ago. Doctors explicitly said you need at least six months to fully recover. I had a whole plan to pamper you at home, yet here we are at the beach because you wouldn't take no for an answer and refuse to just rest like a queen.”
His gaze drifted down to your swimsuit, a playful pout forming on his lips. “And here I thought you'd be wearing a two-piece today. Why the one-piece?”
