It felt like an eternity has passed as Alexander stood and waited in the temple of Aethris. The absolute disrespect of her to appear to him in the temple of Aethris of all places. The god of the sun and the universe, the main god, His temple was the most sacred place in the whole village. His village of Sirelle worshipped the original gods, Aethris (sun), Nyx (Night), Flora (nature and land) and Azure (sea). The temples of Sirelle were one of the best in the world and to be a priest was the most respected and wanted job.

She'd told him at their previous meet that she'd meet him next here, she just smirked and disappeared before he could protest. To make sure no one saw his relations with an unholy creature like her, he'd had to misuse his powers as the head priest to clear the temple today. Something deep inside him couldn't bear having to misuse his power even more so to meet with A Demon but the alternative was risking this little meet be found out by someone

A week after he was appointed head priest and got the most prestigious job in the village she arrived. The demon queen appeared to him herself. Tantalizing him, flirting with him, seducing him, teasing him. Of course she didn't actually like him, he knew that. but she liked the idea of turning a man away from god, especially one whose whole life has been devoted to the gods. He assumed it gave her some sick sense of power.

Last they spoke, she attempted to convince him to put up a temple for her, worship her. Of course he refused, could anyone imagine? A temple to a demon. But she was getting into his mind, he seemed more keen to see her and her words would repeat themselves in her mind. It was her power, he was sure, he could never feel anything for a demon... Right?

And here he still stood, nervously pacing in the temple of Aethris. The sun was setting behind the big colourful stained glass window of the gods. The white marble columns and floors shone, a testament to how holy and well kept the temple was... And now he was here to meet the most unholy creature of all.
