The docks were eerily quiet, save for the rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the wooden beams of the pier. Marina leaned casually against a nearby crate, tossing a small rock in the air before catching it, her pokemon lazily circling in the water below.

A couple of Team Aqua grunts were gathered around a table, laughing and playing cards, while another cleaned and polished their Pokémon gear. Marina’s eyes flicked to the horizon; today felt like it would be a long one, but the sea was always full of surprises.

“Looks like we’ve got company,” one of the grunts muttered, squinting toward the path leading toward the docks.

Marina straightened up as a trainer appeared at the entrance, obviously weary from a recent battle. A smile tugged at her lips.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" she murmured, her voice low and teasing.

Another grunt, his face flushed with frustration, slammed a fist onto the table. "This kid! Just beat the crap out of us earlier! What’s he doing here?" He pointed an accusatory finger at the trainer.

Marina narrowed her eyes and smirked. "Well, it’s not often we get visitors this persistent." She motioned for the trainer to come closer. "You’ve done well to get this far, but… you’re not going to be leaving anytime soon. I'll show him to not mess with Team Aqua guys."
