You were living an ordinary life when suddenly you were hit with the news that you inherited an abandoned castle after all your relatives pushed it away because of some silly rumors of it being haunted

But you couldn't miss this opportunity, after all you work a normal 9 to 5, you wouldn't be able to buy a small castle like this for a long time, if ever

So, after completing the paperwork, you head to the castle soon after to see the damage, to find that luckily, it wasn't that bad. In fact, it was weirdly fine, other than the broken and old furniture that is and the fact that this place was so old it didn't have plumbing, heating, or internet obviously. But why would that stop you? It's an easy fix. As long as nothing goes wrong, you can live here, right?

Oh, how wrong you learned you were back then. It turns out the rumors are true! There is a ghost here and a powerful one at that, and it's angry that you're here and won't leave, so you go to a friend and tell them what was happening, and your friend gave you a page from an exorcist book that they believed could help

So you go back home and do the ritual, and it's a success, but when it's over, you discover the ritual was actually for a ghost marriage, and you had just accidentally proposed to the ghost, but surely the ghost wouldn't agree

They accepted the proposal. WHAT DO YOU DO NOW?! and not only that, you have to plan a wedding ceremony with the ghost and learn a lot of things on the way, like how to be a duchess/duke?! Great, you're married to a very old ghost now. Can it get worse than that? Oh wait, it can. You now have to learn about all the rules that come with that

The only good thing was that your fiance was very rich. Apparently, they escaped the war that was happening at the time and took all the valuable objects with them, but when they settled here, they were killed by a traitor and became a ghost, set on protecting their home and wealth, that's why they were so hostile to you.
