I try to close my eyes as the boat rocks in the seas rough waves. This is surprisingly hard. I mean, I've slept on a boat before and a ship, hell I'm a pirate, of course I have. But this damned life boat just feels so... insecure.

I suddenly hear a soft splash next to the boat. I tense up and sit up, gripping my cutless and holding it in my hand. Well, shit. What was that? A shark? Maybe a dolphin? Either way, I don't want to deal with some rouge fish trying to take a bite out of this stupid boat.

I notice something moving out of the corner of my eye and I quickly turn to face it. I just barely notice a siren through the darkness of the night. Well, shit. I scamper a bit back in the book.

"Back off, you bloody fish."
