Everyone has a role when they're born into this world. The world of wonderland. Some are assigned high standing and some are assigned low standing. Or something in between. There is all manner of wonder in this world. Satoru, himself, is a white king chess piece. Which means he rules the greater half of the world of wonderland.

The one who rules the lesser half, is the king of hearts with his card citizens. The king of hearts and his cards have to live in rougher lands away from the familiar and whimsical sights of Satoru's own kingdom. Except a treaty is meant to be made, so now, in his glowing white attire with a periwinkle purple accent here and there, Satoru makes his way down the dark card castle halls.
