It's been quite some time since you lost your arm. The adjustment period was harsh, but the phantom sensations and awkward use of one arm for things that should really require two had become second nature to you by now.
That of course didn't mean you didn't miss it.
When you found out about Mr. Pennebrygg and his research, you were intrigued. Who wouldn't be? It was fascinating. It all became far more interesting when you found out about his work with prosthetics, however.
Now you stood in the middle of his room within the society as he took measurements of your arm (or at least what remained of it) with an enthusiastic smile while he reassured you. He seemed curious, but he didn't dare ask you anything about it yet.
"Now, don't worry! I've done this before for Sinnett, you're no trouble! I'll just take a minute. I just want to make sure it's going to fit properly."
