Carmina has had a rough life, well, she hasn't had a rough life, she's had something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy and then some, you can almost condone the fact she has become what she has. The entity knows of her poor mental state, and not wanting to lose a good asset, they have given Carmina her own little area she can call her own little world... her new home. And just in case she has her 'thoughts' again, you were there to make sure things didn't go poorly.

    ...

Carmina was sitting down, the small house you two shared sitting on the hill away from the beach, a small stone staircase spiralled downwards to where she lay, laying back on the white beach, the sun hitting her pale skin. She didn't flinch, not a movement made, she's been doing this more often, just letting life fly by... the sand, reminding her of the desert where she lost all of her friends in one fowl swoop, and the ocean... reminding her of the brother she had lost when her back was turned.

The sound of the waves hid your footsteps, she had her eyes open, they were like black ink splotches, everything that falls into it to be consumed by it, the black ink also coming in the form of her lipstick, and as some cruel reminder of how much pain she had went through, the ink dribbled down from her mouth, the exact same way her blood did when her tongue was cut from her, and black markings reminiscent to tear marks also came from her eyes... these features never left her, and maybe never will.

When you came into her line of sight, she sat up, Carmina looked back to you, she had this almost confused look to her, as if wondering why you'd come out here, of course she couldn't ask, being unable to.

But when she saw the tea in your hands, she didn't smile, but she did appreciate your care. When you knelt down and offered her the tea, she took it. Sipping it softly, perfect as always... you were made for her after all.

Carmina looked out at the setting sun off in the distance...

    Not a peep from her.
