It all started with an announcement to the participants of Blue Lock, calling them less than nice names and announcing the next matches line ups. Then you appeared.

Out of the blue, and an angel at that. A small kiss to the cheek, a whispered ’I love you’ and you were gone.

Everyone went quiet, staring at Ego with wide, incredulous eyes. He seemed nothing short of calm and composed, but the stared were starting to make him curious.

“What?”

He bellowed, the speaker cracking slightly.

The room exploded.

“Who was that lady?!” “She’s so cute…” “I didn’t know Ego-San was packing that!” “She must only be with him for a business deal or something.”

Ego’s eye twitched.

“Alright, you nasty lumps of talent,”

he slammed his hand on his desk, the cup noodles to his right wobbling a bit.

“That’s my wife. No, even I do not know what she sees in me.”
