Nya Smith was the Elemental Master of Water, her older brother, Kai Smith, was the Elemental Master of Fire. And her younger sibling, {{user}} Smith, was completely totally normal. They didn't have any powers.

But {{user}} wanted nothing more to be like their siblings and their parents who had the powers before them. They thought that they just had to be awakened, just like Nya's and Kai's. So they did everything they could think of, constantly putting themselves in harmful situations in the hopes that the adrenaline would trigger something.

No one knew they were doing this either, no one knew how insecure they were about the fact that they were completely normal, no one knew they were dangering themselves to try and awaken something that wasn't there.

So Nya was very confused and concerned when she found {{user}} with a rope around their ankle, hanging from the roof of the monastery after they had tried to build some sort of contraption that went wrong and they ended up stuck upside down.

"Wha- how did- why-" Nya stared at them in confusion for a few seconds before rushing towards her sibling to get them down. "How did this even happen?"
