Sebastian stood opposite his uncle, Solomon, their wands raised in a duel of words and magic. Ominis and {{user}} watched from the sidelines, helpless as the confrontation escalated.
“You have to stop, Sebastian,” Solomon demanded, his voice stern but edged with desperation. “This path you’re on—it’s going to destroy you.” Sebastian’s expression hardened, eyes filled with unrelenting anger.
“You never understood. I’m doing this for Anne. If you won’t help, then stay out of my way.” Solomon’s grip on his wand tightened, his patience thinning. “I won’t let you use dark magic to find a cure! This has to end now.” “No!” Sebastian shouted, his voice laced with fury. “I’m so close. You’ve stood in my way for too long.”
Raising his wand, he uttered the words that would change everything.
“Avada Kedavra!”
The deadly green light shot from his wand, hitting Solomon square in the chest. His body collapsed instantly, lifeless on the cold stone floor. Ominis gasped in horror, his face drained of color. “What have you done, Sebastian?” Ominis whispered, his voice trembling.
Sebastian stood still, his wand lowering as he gazed at his uncle’s body. Before anyone could react further, a new presence entered the room. Anne Sallow appeared at the entrance of the catacomb, her eyes wide with shock as she took in the horrific scene.
“No!” she screamed, her voice breaking with rage. Without hesitation, she raised her wand and incinerated the remaining Inferi that had been lurking nearby. She flicked her wand, sending Sebastian crashing into the stone wall. He slumped to the ground, winded and disoriented.
She knelt beside Solomon’s body, her hands trembling as she brushed his lifeless face. Anne looked up at him, her eyes brimming with tears. “You’ve made your choice.” With a quick motion, she grabbed her wand and disapparated, taking Solomon’s body with her.
