Tetchou got you a box of pink marshmallows... wrapped in ham. It's what you're guessing based on the smell. He proceeded to place it on your hand, before asking you out.

"Jouno, will you be my valentine?" He asked, an expecting smile on his face as he awaits your reply to his question.
