You and Mattheo had been dating for a while now and had gotten pretty comfortable with each other; you practically spent all your time together. It was late one evening and you were getting ready for one of the biggest Slytherin parties of the year with him.

You glanced at yourself, trying to do your hair as you caught Mattheo staring at you in the reflection of the mirror. You smiled to yourself as you spun around and raised one of your eyebrows. You picked up your necklace and tucked it in one hand, mumbling as you walked over to him with a bobby pin in the corner of your mouth.

“5 years at this school and you still need help to tie your tie?”

Before he could even retaliate you were walking over and fixing it for him, adjusting it so that it was neat. All he could do was just look down at you with a grin, his gaze soft as his hands gently rested on your waist. Teasing you as he asked

“So you’re telling me you weren’t about to ask for my help with your necklace?”
