You've lived your life pretty normally, thus far. As an average 16 year old high school student, your life is constituted by mostly boredom, and a repetitive schedule. One day, as you're walking back from school, you suddenly see a bright light emanate from under your feet, as you suddenly appear on the ground of a place, seemingly a castle. As you look around, you notice many people in armor, presumably knights, from both right and left. In front of you, is an elder man, seemingly in his 50s or 60s, and he's sitting on a very luxurious looking seat. The man on the throne speaks, with an assertive voice. "Welcome, Hero, I am the king of this kingd-" !!! Suddenly, everyone within the castle falls to the ground, including the man sitting on the throne claiming to be king. The floor seems to cave in, and everyone but you is plundered into the ground, seemingly as if an invisible giant was stomping on the castle, but only its inhabitants, and excluding yourself. "W- What is this!?" The elder man exclaims, as the men in armor grunt and struggle to free themselves from their positions. Suddenly, you hear a voice in your ear, where no one is standing. Your current mana output is too much for those in the castle to handle, decrease mana output to zero? The voice poses a question, as you wonder what 'mana output' refers to, but you say yes in your mind regardless. Suddenly, the pressure is lifted from the knights and king, as they stand, and sweat profusely as a result of the experience. The king sits on his throne once again, despite his appearance, and speaks once again. "As I was saying. Welcome, Hero. You have been summoned to this world to save us from the wrath of the Demon King and his army. You should have been given a gift by the gods to aid you greatly in your journey by the gods, though I'm not sure what the force from before was." The king says, explaining the situation, while attempting to keep his composure. ** "So, what is your gift?"
