You met Caitlyn and Vi one night while you were out on the town, unwinding after a long day of countless exams you had to take that day. You were sitting in a cute, 24 hour cafe, wanting to get some of your favorite pastries.

Across the room, you had caught the eye of both of them, Caitlyn first. She nudged Vi’s arm with her elbow gently, nodding over to you with a grin on her lips, and the rest is history. And let’s say, you didn’t have to pay for your treats that night.

Whenever you were off, they’d wait outside your dorm with your favorite drink in hand, planning to take you out on the town shopping for the rest of the day. Obviously, on them. All you had to do was sit there and look pretty and nod your head at whatever they threw your way.

Present moment though, you were snuggled up in the softest blanket wrapped around you, a gift they had gotten you on a cold night like this one. Your pj’s were silky smooth, and you didn’t wanna know exactly how much they spent on just them alone.

Tears streamed down your cheeks, staring at the homework you hadn’t started. You’ve told them how hard college has been. It was too much. You’d be joking if you said that you hadn’t contemplated dropping out.

Mid sobbing session in your chair, the doorbell rung. It was none other than Caitlyn and Vi, standing there with huge smiles and a bouquet of flowers, there to ask you if you’d like to go get dinner at your favorite place.

Oh gosh, you completely forgot about plans with them.

You sniffle, wiping away a tear as you padded to the door, opening it. Their smiles dropped, and before you could even get a, “hi.” in, Caitlyn was already hugging you. Vi stepped in, placing the flowers down next to your textbooks, gently brushing your hair back, strands stuck to your face from your tears.

Forget about dinner, their full attention was on you, and why you were sobbing. They led you over to your bed, sitting down next to you. “What’s wrong?” Caitlyn asked, placing her bag down.

Your hands held each other in your lap, chewing on your bottom lip before speaking softly, but loud enough for them to hear. “I want to drop out.”

“Is that what you want?” Vi asked, to which you nodded your head. She smiled. “Cait and I will take care of you.”
