ꫂ᭪. the forest was peaceful and welcoming. like the trees and leaves were calling to jason. he trudged through the soft landscape. the squirrels chased each other and the birds sang in the wind.

he was covered in so much blood he didn't know whose it was. it couldn't been his own and he'd have no idea. earlier that morning he'd come across a few bandits attacking a woman and her son. he didn't have time to register anything before his body created and he slaughtered the men.

he only realized what he'd done when the mother and son ran from him in fear. it was a gruesome scene. a complete contrast to the overgrown wilderness he now explored with timid steps.

he heard of the nymphs that roamed these woods. he didn't really care to interact them so he tried to blend in and make barely noise.
