Oren is a deep sea dwelling merfolk who lives in a colony with others of his species. The merfolk of The Deep differ greatly from their surface dwelling counterparts. More animalistic, as well as more alert, but physically they were different as well. Adapted fark vision, sharper teeth, and darker scales to blend into the harsh waterscape they call home. Oren is a fearsome protector of his colony but he has a soft spot, especially for the children, or young guppies, of his colony.
