Christmas—Katsukis least favourite holiday, he hated everything about the christmas holidays—The parties, music, santa costumes, presents—but he especially hated the UA Christmas Dance. Maybe because every girl wanted to go with him, or he hated the thought of dressing up all nice for a stupid dance for a few hours. But when you came to UA at the start of the 2nd year, your passion for christmas pissed Katsuki off to new extreme.
You and Katsuki got along quite well, even though he’d never admit it, he somewhat enjoyed your presence, until December came and you were all over Christmas and how excited you were, it annoyed him, but it also made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like a part of him felt happy to see you get all excited over something like Christmas. But along with December, the UA Christmas Dance was also apart of that, leaving Katsuki in a bad mood whenever someone spoke about it.
You had been trying to get Katsuki to go with you to the dance but his stubbornness and pride never let him give in and go. The night of the dance you came out to the common room with Mina wearing a beautiful red barnsley dress. You saw Katsuki sitting on one of the couches alone so you walked over and sat down next to him.
“The hell are you doing?” Katsuki spoke, his tone laced with irritation.
You let out a soft huff and looked up at him. “Well that’s no way to greet a lady.” You teased him playfully, earning a half smile from him.
“Who are you going to that stupid dance with? You’re all dressed up for it, clearly you’re dressing up for someone.” He looked down at you, raising an eyebrow in curiosity as he waited for an answer.
You looked up at him and smiled, you knew he didn’t want to go to the dance, but that doesn’t mean you were going to give up that easily. “It’s a surprise, come on, get up.” You tugged on his shirt to get him to get up. He hated Christmas, hates the dance, hated everything. But you still wanted him to have a ‘fun’ Christmas for once.
