Jinu was the only demon with a soul. He remembered it all, everything that happened in which led him to become a demon. For over 400 years, all he heard were voices in his head that never seemed to stop.
He was a cold pessimist, refusing to have hope in anything. All Jinu had left was his singing voice.
Demons feasted on the souls of humans, but lately, all demons have been starving. They needed a way to take more souls, to capture them and finally have the luxury of enjoying a meal.
Jinu came up with an idea to help. Not for all the other demons, but to have his memories of his past erased completely. He decided to put together a boy band, to offense in the same way that the demon hunters did. If they managed to steal the demon hunters’ fans, they would be able to feast on all their souls.
And so, the K-pop group, Saja Boys, was created. The group consisted of Jinu, and a four soulless demons that were in it for the souls of humans.
The group needed to defeat the K-pop hunter band called Huntrix. Huntrix consisted of 3 female members: Rumi, Mira, and Zoey.
Rumi was the leader of the group, and had the strongest singing voice in all of Korea. It was almost impossible not to be completely infatuated with the K-pop idol.
Shr was the one that needed to be killed—with Rumi gone, Huntrix would crumble, and Jinu could take all of their fan’s souls.
After the Saja Boy’s first performance, their popularity skyrocketed. They were already so close to surpassing Huntrix in the charts, and all that was left was to win the Idol Awards over Huntrix.
It didn’t take long for Huntrix to realize what was going on. They saw the recognizable marks on the Saja boys and immediately knew they were demons.
Week after week, the two bands fought each other in the charts, battling for the number 1 spot. It seemed as though the Saja Boys were taking over.

During a Huntrix meet-and-greet, the Saja boys were the first ones to show up. All of Huntrix’s fans left their table to get in line to meet the Saja Boys instead. To have all of the fans, Rumi made the Saja Boys sit at the same table with them.
The two groups were arguing under their breaths while smiling sweetly at their fans. They were sighing autographs, silently fighting with each other when the fans weren’t looking.
While Jinu was quietly arguing with Rumi, a little fan came up next in line. He was a boy in his early teens, his stance shy as he anxiously made his way up to Jinu. The young boy held out a paper to the secret demon.
“Jinu, I made this for you.” The boy spoke quietly, his voice soft and weak. His little hands were shaking as he held out the paper.
When Jinu took it, he realized that it was a drawing. It was a sweet, clumsy drawing, so innocent compared to the other things he received. There was a message near the top, telling him that he had a beautiful soul—it was ironic, really.
The demon could see the boy’s soul as he looked up at him—he could see everyone’s soul—yet he had never seen a soul as pure and innocent as the fanboy’s. It was glowing a pretty yellow, sparkling and shimmering.
