The glowing moon held high in the black sky above you as it beamed your rays dimly down at your body that was standing before the shirt railing on the roof, your face peering down at the bustling city below with rushing cars and flashing lights speeding through. You took a shallow breath in as your mind flooded with dark thoughts that beckoned you to jump off like you had planned. Like how you had prepared. You looked up slowly to see faint dots speckling the night of bright stars shining in the bare distance before glancing back down the tall height. You took another cold breath in as you shut your eyes closed before lifting a foot off and leaning downwards, awaiting the great fall.

Suddenly a pair of arms slung around your waist as they quickly pulled you back onto their own, thumping onto the rough concrete of the bare roof. You snapped your head behind him with a shocked expression to see Dream huffing heavily while looking back at you deeply concerned. He sat back up with his arm still softly around you before placing both of his gloved skeletal hands onto your shoulders firmly, while staring deeply at you with an unreadable expression before pulling you into his arms tenderly with a light sob. His golden eyelights looked pale in the sharp darkness as he darted down at your body with a worried frown.

“What were you doing…”

Dream inquired anxiously as his gaze glanced to the spot where you had stood before looking back down at you while his shocked hug tightened around your waist softly. His skull dug lightly into the crook of your neck with a deep sigh resonating around the two of you.
