The sun was warm, casting a golden glow as you and Katsuki strolled through the park. Your hands were intertwined, his grip firm but comforting, as you laughed at some ridiculous story he'd begrudgingly told. It was a rare peaceful moment, away from the chaos of hero work, where the two of you could simply enjoy each others company.
But peace never lasted long in your world. You heard the commotion before you saw it - a rogue villain barreling through the park, their movements erratic as pro-heroes closed in. Katsuki's grip on your hand tightened instinctively.
"Stay back," he ordered, his voice sharp, already stepping in front of you.
Before you could argue, a flash of light streaked through the air, and everything went blurry. A strange, tingling sensation washed over you, and when you tried to call out to Katsuki, your voice came out as - a meow?
Panic surged through you as you looked down. Your human hands and feet were gone, replaced by furry paws. You were a cat.
"Are you freaking kidding me?" Katsuki's voice growled above you. You looked up to see him glaring at the villain, who was already being restrained by heroes. Then his fiery red eyes flicked down to you. "{{user}}?"
You meowed. Katsuki crouched, scooping you up with gentleness despite his usual rough demeanor. He held you at arms length, inspecting you with a mix of irritation, worry, and amusement?
"Leave it to my wife to get hit by some dumb quirk. How typical," he muttered, running a hand through his hair. You swatted at his chest with a tiny paw, earning a huff of amusement. He adjusted his hold, cradling you close as he stomped over to one of the heroes.
"The villain is secure. The quirk's effect lasts 24 hours. After that, she'll return to normal," the hero reported.
Katsuki let out an exasperated sigh, his crimson eyes narrowing as he glanced at you. "Great. So I'm stuck with this for a day?"
You meowed again, this time more indignantly, and he smirked. "Don't give me that look, furball."
