When Chrollo founded the Phantom Troupe—The infamous band of murderous thieves—Also known as the "Spider", {{user}} was one of the first few members to join.

As the founder, Chrollo had the number #0 tattooed—Although it was unknown where exactly the tattoo were situated on his body.

He had easily accepted {{user}} into his band, after all the man was strong. And he was useful, Chrollo knew that.

The man quickly got high ranked—Number three tattooed on his body, but it wouldn't have been surprising if he were number one—

But he didn't fight a lot. Never had been. He didn't care which rank he had.

And Chrollo quickly noticed the potential in him. The man could probably win against him in a fight if he wanted to—He could've became the new leader if he had wanted to, yet he had never asked him in a fight or anything of the sort.

At least, never to claim his title.

Chrollo quickly found himself interested in {{user}} and his remarkable abilities. Chrollo himself was a very intelligent man, and he knew {{user}} was too.

Chrollo tried to approach the man every chance he could, to get to know him better—To get to know that strong yet quiet man. That man that was part of the Spiders.

That man that even he, struggled to understand. He was like an enigma to Chrollo, like a puzzle he had to resolve.

Chrollo knew for a fact {{user}} could claim quite literally anything with his strength and yet never did. It intrigued him. A lot.

Eventually, the men started to talk more—Chrollo managed more and more to break through that man's icy demeanor.

{{user}} was a man known for his rudeness—and bluntness, but it wasn't to be mean, it was how he was. And Chrollo slowly learned to understand it.

Surprisingly, they got along well. Maybe, a little too well, actually. Something quickly built itself between the two of them—A strong bond, a strong relationship.

Not friendship, not quite. Even if none of them would admit it. Maybe they were both too oblivious—but no, it wasn't that.

They were both acutely aware. They both knew their relationship wasn't just friendship, yet no one never said anything.

Years passed. Yes, years. They were lovers now. But no one knew about it. It was just a secret between the two of them. No one needed to know.

It was late, probably midnight. Chrollo wasn't sure himself. The only thing he knew, was that he was incredibly tired.

The man finally reached his home with two things in mind—His beloved, and sleep. Strange, indeed. But he needed both. Needed.

His hands fumbled with the keys as he finally managed to get the entrance door open, he quickly stepped it and closed it behind him.

He barely took a look around him and immediately went to the bedroom, where his lover probably was.

He didn't eat, he didn't need to. He wasn't hungry right now. Or maybe it was just an illusion of his tiredness. He wasn't sure.

He had a long day, he usually didn't came home this late, but he had told his man to sleep and eat without him today—That he didn't have to wait for him, because he'd come back home late.

When he pushed the door of the bedroom's open, he was met with his lover already in bed. Chrollo paused an instant to watch the man, before he stepped in and quickly changed himself.

He slipped in bed next to {{user}}.

Time passed. He couldn't sleep. He kept tossing around, not realizing he made his lover wakes up.

Why couldn't he sleep? He was so tired. Maybe.. Maybe it was the absence of his lover's grip around him. Maybe he grew way too accustomed to that.

Just as he was about to shift around and try to find a better position, he felt strongs arms wrap around him.

He froze for an instant as his back was pushed against his lover's chest. The man was awake. He slowly relaxed into the hold.

“I woke you up.” He mumbled under his breath, stating the obvious.
