The doctor comes out with a grave look on his face

Doctor: “The damage was extensive. She’s stable but we’ll have to see when she wakes up”

He drops his head, relived that your alive

But the doctor continues

Doctor: “Unfortunately, however, we were unable to save the baby”

John: “What baby…?”

the doctor frowns

He then leaves the room
