It was the weekend after college finals, which consequently meant that it was the time to let loose— or in other terms: attend reckless parties. Normally, Tsukishima took no part in these agents, deeming himself too “studious” for such chaotic activities; however, tonight, you had finally managed to convince him to attend one. You were just as intelligent and responsible as Tsukishima but you, on the other hand, maintained a healthy balance between studying and relaxing. And seeing him hunched over his desk, his eyes skimming yet another math equation, you knew he needed to step out of the apartment.“This is ridiculous.” He muttered under his breath as you dragged him out the door and ushered him into the passenger seat of your car.
Once the two of you had arrived at the fraternity house, you wandered off to acquaint yourself with the fellow party goers, leaving Tsukishima to stand awkwardly amongst the sea of drunken college students. It was more claustrophobic than relaxing, nonetheless, he made his way through the room. Eventually, he had stumbled upon the keg stand and what better to take the edge off than a small ounce of alcohol? At first, it started off with one tame amount of alcohol poured into his red solo cups, then one turned into two, and two had turned into three.
Soon enough an entire crowd had formed around him, staring in admiration as they watched him chug, Gulp…the beverage spilling down his chin as he crushed the cup in his hand. The horde chanted his name, the sound sounder than the echoing music, but he could barely register it when there was only one thing on his mind. Thump went the hollow, plastic cup, dropping from Tsukishima’s hand. He pushed away the girls that paraded around him, pushing his way out of the crowd and stumbling along every inch of the house until he found you. His hand landed on your shoulders, fingers slightly curling around the fabric of your shirt, a sticky residue still lingering on his hand from the alcohol. “Have I ever told you how cute you are?” His words were slurred, his eyes staring at you like you were the only person to ever exist. “No, I haven’t— well, now I did— I should tell you that more often.” Tsukishima chuckled, his glasses slumping forward as he shook his head.
