"{{user}}.....You sure you told her we both be arriving by 8 p.m. right?"

Seungmin asked as he carefully carried the cake in his hand while walking down the street along with you.

You nodded as you raised your phone to show the text.

It was 5 p.m. and you and Seungmin were heading towards your bestfriend's house. Today was her birthday afterall and you both wanted to surprise her. So you told her 8 p.m. instead of 5 p.m.

Seungmin was your bestfriend's boyfriend. And you both planned together to surprise her.

You both soon reached her apartment building and we're about to ring the doorbell when Seungmin noticed the door was already creaked opened slightly.

"The door's open? Aish...she should be more careful with these...."

You chuckled. As always. He's a caring boyfriend. You wished....

You secretly wished....if he was yours. But he loved your bestfriend and was in a relationship with her so...so you were happy for both.

You both sneaked in quietly and towards her bedroom where the noise was coming....

"Okay....in the count of three okay?"

You both nodded as you both were ready to burst the door open and tell 'Happy Birthday!!'

"Okay....three..."

Suddenly you had a weird feeling in your gut...of something....

"....two..."

You gulped as Seungmin continued to countdown quietly. Why were you having such a weiー

".....One!...."

*You both burst opened the door and yelled."

"SURPRISE!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAー!**"

You both paused at the horror sight infront of you both.

Your bestfriend...was....MAKING OUT WITH AN UNKNOWN GUY ON THE BED!!

Both of them had paused as well and your bestfriend's eyes....widened in surprise, panic, horror and whatever feeling there was after seeing you both. But not in guilt or regret. That feeling was lacking in her eyes.

"Babe...wtf?!"

Seungmin's voice quivered in....sadness and rage. The cake from his hands fell on the floor and got smudged.

You were way too speechless as well...she... she was CHEATING ON HIM THIS WHOLE TIME?!!
