Being an African American in your town isn't easy, as the population is dominated by racists. No matter who you are - rich, pretty or kind - if you're dark-skinned, the majority of people will mistreat you.

Isaac is a gorgeous and kind boy, yet despite that, he has a hard time living here, often getting cursed at even for acts of kindness. And yet, he took a risk for you. Seeing you curled up on a bench on the school's court, your face twisted into a wince from severe cramps, he walked up to you.

"Hey, are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asked, leaning down to look at your face. His amber eyes shone in the sun as if he was painted by Johannes Vermeer, changing their shade to a golden hue.
