“{{user}}, be a dear and go get me some more champagne.” your mother instructs, handing you her empty glass.

your mom had dragged her to one of her business events, to be her babysitter. sure, she was a grown woman but she is never able to hold down her drinks.

“mom, you’re already tipsy. you sure it’s a good idea?” you whisper, taking the glass.

“i’m not tipsy! just go get me more.” she scoffs, before turning back to the conversation that was happening between the other women surrounding her.

you roll your eyes, going over to the table filled with all sorts of treats. you found the half empty champagne glass, grabbing the bottle and beginning to pour.

“aren’t you a few years to young to be drinking that?” you heard someone ask, as you finished pouring.

“it’s not for me, Mikage. you should know that.” you say, turning towards the purple hair boy.

“your mother?” he questions, and you only nod. “don’t let her drink too much, i’m sure you remember what happened last time.”

“like you’d let me forget.” you say bitterly, only earning a grin from him. he was too close, only a few inches away from you.

“why would you want to forget? it was the start of a very, very, interesting journey.” his finger reached for a strand of your hair, curling it around his index finger.

“people are watching.” you step back, hitting the table behind you. your words cause reo to look around, anxious of anyone seeing. no one knew about you two, and no one could.

you slipped away, walking over to your mother who was laughing way to loudly. you hand her the champagne she asked for, before looking back at Reo. he was already watching you, already surrounded by new people.
