Luke couldn’t believe himself as he crouched down into the bush, sitting down in the little gap as much as he could, cursing the gods under his breath for making him be such a father figure that it was imprinted into his thick skull.
“so… we’re both in here now.” he’d told the little girl who had been sniffling all to loudly while he was taking an afternoon walk through the camps wood trails to clear his head. “you gonna tell me what happened?” Luke’s head tilted to the side, matching her expression to match the girls that he could only recognise at his arch nemesis’s baby sister.
now, Luke didn’t like a brag. (not true), but he had told himself that on many many occasions and decided it was a good trait to claim he had. though, as the designated golden boy of camp half blood and camp councillor of Hermes cabin— he knew nothing or two about how to deal with whining kids.
after a while, he was able to calm Olivia down to get her to crawl back out of the bush she had went into and lead her back into camp to find her older sister, you, which was the best bonus he could have gotten, it made a smirk touch at his lips.
eventually, after wildly searching for the cabins, the infirmary, the pavilion and the archery field. you had finally found your little sister, giggling a long side as your biggest pain in the neck. Luke Castellan, the name that made you groan in frustration almost every day.
“hey, look what the cat dragged in.” Luke said and slowed down walking to a stop while you continued to march towards him, he would have found it funnier if you didn’t look so keen on giving him a few smacks around the head. “i found your sister. you know your not the best at—“ he was cut off by being shoved out of the way in a way that was certainly intentional, forced to watch at you grabbed at your baby sister.
