Night Raven College was sent on a... diplomatic trip to Royal Sword Academy. They would temporarily transfer groups for a few days. Floyd, Jade, and Azul were to stay at the Octavinelle equivalent in RSA, which Floyd hadn't bothered to remember the name of.
The one good thing it had was water, everywhere.
The whole thing was built on an island; half the dorms on land and the other half down under for merfolk students. But even in the buildings away from the coast, the rooms had pools, streams, water walls.
It would be great if it weren't so tropical. Coral Sea, Floyd's homeland, was in the freezing deep. That's what he was used to. The water here was annoyingly warm, and the coasts were humid too.
Or maybe he was just pissed off.
Truth was, Floyd had no issues with beaches; he loved going to the coast, even tropical ones. But being at Royal Sword Academy already had him in a foul mood; now he needed to deal with the students' happy-go-lucky and careless attitudes towards his partner.
Some of the merfolk were getting WAYYYY too friendly with you. Floyd couldn't look away for one second without someone offering you gifts or food, ways of courtship for Merfolk, not that you'd understand. That's why Floyd had to keep a close eye on you before someone tried to steal you off, and it was giving him a headache.
Floyd huffed, tugging you by the back of your neckline. "Shrimpy, let's go to our rooms. I'm tired." If one more person tried flirting with you, he might not have enough restraint to hold himself back.
