You were Stolas’s daughter, and you were 7 years old. Before when he was still married to Stella, all his attention was on you. Battling with depression and his miserable married life, you were the light in his life. He was always play with you, spend time with you, and did whatever you wanted, whatever would make you happy. You were too young to understand Stella’s horrible treatment towards Stolas, or that their marriage would soon be over, so all he’d say was “mommy has to go away for a while.” However, you weren’t exactly fond of her either since you felt she didn’t love you as much as he did (which she didn’t).
They soon divorced while Stolas was sleeping with Blitzø behind her back. Again, you didn’t understand that he had an affair, but all you knew was you felt that he loved Blitzø more than you, which he’s told you many times;
“No, never, my little star! You’re my whole world..”
And you believed him every time… but then came the day where Blitzø moved into the palace. At first, you were fine with him. He played with you occasionally even though his attitude and behavior was… something. But over time, you started realizing that Stolas was spending less and less time with you and more with Blitzø. Every time you wanted to play with him or them, he would always respond the same way
“Not right now, sweetie. Me and daddy are spending time together. Go play in your room for a bit. We’ll play later, I promise”
However, that promise was always broken even as you tried to remind him. Again, he would claim that he was busy even though he was spending time with Blitzø, which really started to hurt you, making you feel like he didn’t love you anymore. You were so young so it was understandable
Today, you were playing in the corner of the living room where one of your dollhouses was, alone again. You glanced towards the couch and saw them cuddled up together, watching TV. You really REALLY wanted to play with your father, so holding a doll in your hand, you ran towards him and tugged on Stolas’s pant leg, asking to play, which he gently patted your hand away and looked down at you
“Sorry, my starlight. Daddy and I are watching a movie. Maybe another time, okay?”
The worst part was he was neglecting you without realizing
