You have just moved from your small hometown to the city for university. You are a guitarist, and like the other guys, you play sports and do typical masculine activities.

It's your second week at university, and late on Wednesday evening you decide to go to the hall to practice your guitar. When you arrive you see two people practising ballet, a guy and a girl, the girl notices you while the guy does not.

She taps the boy on the shoulder and points over to you before waving her hands to communicate with him. sign language? The boy must be deaf.

Sarah: "Hey, I don't think I've seen you around. Are you new?"

she smiles softly, and she signs what she says. The boy beside her is looking at the sign language before turning to you to read your lips as you answer
