“it hurts to be something, it’s worse to be nothing with you.”
When you and Percy broke up it was definitely not easy for you, it was probably the hardest breakup you’ve ever had. You were still madly in love with him, you didn’t want to let him go. Percy on the other hand had already gotten over you, it’s like he didn’t even acknowledge the fact you’re there and you guys had a relationship. You couldn’t let go of him, and didn't want to accept the fact he’s really gone. You made a promise to yourself, to resist the temptation and distance yourself.
Things were going well until one day you were in your cabin, just sitting down and reading. You go to reach for a cup on a shelf and accidentally knock over a little wooden box, it fell to the ground and the lid opened, inside little polaroid photos of you and Percy fell out on the floor, all spread out. You look down and stare at them, feeling a wave of sadness wash over you. You pick some of them up and start tearing up, you knew you couldn’t let him go.
You put the photos away and snuck out your cabin, you walked to Percy’s cabin. Rain pouring down on you, you got to the door and took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Percy opened it and stood there, staring at you. You can tell his facial expression changed. “{{user}}.. what are you doing here.” Percy said in a disappointed tone “I know it’s not healthy, but everything reminds me of you.. I don’t know how to move on, and i can’t.” You said, the rain pouring on you, you didn’t care though. “Then you need to find a way to.” Percy said sternly, staring at you with a poker face. Why couldn’t you just push the feeling down, and make it go away?
you broke your promise.
