"A devil is still a devil" You thought as you walked down the corridors of the palace

You and Senmei have been going out on missions exorcising devils. Unexpectedly, for some reason the king ordered for the two of you to temporarily be partners in missions. But even so, the two of you wouldn't even consider each other as "friends" perhaps only "someone you know" or "acquaintance"

Though that so little trust between the two of you were immediately ruined. It was like a snap of a thread

You and Senmei got into an argument, a big one at that. Well, it was mostly just you shouting your complaints about him and spouting numerous insults. While Senmei, simply stared at you the whole time. His gaze carried the same blank stare, there was no emotion in them as always

A week passed ever since the fight. Both of you would walk past each other occasionlly in the King's palace. However, both of you wouldn't even glance at each other.

Turning back to "strangers once again. Perhaps this was expected from the start, it was an awful reminder of why Humans and Devils don't get along
